Visit the David Humphreys House, cozy up by the fire and enjoy samples of items cooked over an open hearth. Items served this afternoon may include but are subject to change: beef stew, homemade butter and toasted bread, pineapple upside down cake, sausage and peppers, squash soup, applesauce and cranberry orange punch. This is not a meal, just an opportunity to get a taste of open hearth cooking.
Entrance fees will be collected at the door and do not need to be prepaid but we do ask that you RSVP to info@derbyhistorical.org with your interest so we can prepare enough for everyone.
