DESCRIPTION:Join the Derby Historical Society for a lantern lit walking tour of the Ansonia Historic District. But stay alert! You never know who you will meet along the way. When you return to the House\, join our storyteller out back for a hot drink and more spooky tales by the fire. \n \nTours depart at 6pm\, 7pm and 8pm and are about one hour in length. Please choose a tour time when purchasing your tickets. Our storyteller will be performing from 6pm – 9pm and you may join her any time before or after your tour. \nTours depart from the David Humphreys House at 37 Elm Street\, Ansonia. There is parking in the lot behind our House as well as along Thomas Street. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear walking shoes. DESCRIPTION:Facebook Live – https://www.facebook.com/davidhumphreyshouse\n\nJoin us for a Watercolor Seascape with Amie Ziner.\n\nBYOB and a snack to your personal workspace in this FREE virtual event.\n\nMaterials list:\n\nWatercolor paper\, at least 9”x12”\, either taped with brown gummed tape to a board\, or as a watercolor block (these are glued on all 4 sides).\nthree brushes- a big flat\, a small chisel\, and a small round. Buy good brushes – student or professional grade. Assortment packs are a good deal.\nPaper should be for watercolor\, any size. Don’t use printer paper for this one!\nA set of watercolors. Get whatever set you like\, but oddly enough\, you can paint with cheap watercolors and end up with good results. If you are starting out\, get the watercolors in tubes; they’re just easier to use. That’s it\, no pencils\, no erasers\, no rulers!
