Directions to the David Humphreys House

From Bridgeport, New York, and all points Southwest:
Get on the Route 8 Expressway Northbound (Exit 27A off I-95, or Exit 52 off the Merritt Parkway Rte. 15).
Get off Exit 15 "Route 34 - Derby".
Take a RIGHT at the end of the ramp onto Route 34. Get into the LEFT LANE.
The road soon ends in a 3-way intersection. Take a LEFT onto Derby Avenue (Route 115).
Follow Derby Avenue for one mile.
At the first traffic light (on the Derby-Ansonia town line) take a RIGHT onto Elm Street (Route 243).
The David Humprheys House is a red colonial on 37 Elm Street, on the right side of the road. Elm Street Cemetery is across the street. Parking is in the rear.
From the Waterbury area and I-84 Westbound:
Get on the Route 8 Expressway Southbound in Waterbury (Exit 20).
Follow Route 8 to Derby. Get off Exit 15 "Route 34 - Derby"
Take a RIGHT at the end of the ramp onto Route 34. Get into the LEFT LANE.
The road soon ends in a 3-way intersection. Take a LEFT onto Derby Avenue (Route 115).
Follow Derby Avenue for one mile.
At the first traffic light (on the Derby-Ansonia town line) take a RIGHT onto Elm Street (Route 243).

From Route 8, Northbound or Southbound:
Get off Exit 15 in Derby.

Either take I-84 West to Waterbury to Route 8 (see "Waterbury area" above)
Or, take I-91 to the Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15) in Meriden. (See "New Haven - Wilbur Cross Parkway" below)
From the New Haven area - Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15) Westbound.
Take Exit 58 and merge onto Route 34, toward Ansonia and Derby.
Follow Route 34 into Derby. Pass the shopping centers on the right.
Once past the shopping centers, get into the RIGHT LANE.
At the traffic light near the large brick church (St. Michael's) on the right. Stay in the RIGHT LANE and go STRAIGHT onto Derby Avenue (Route 115).
Follow Derby Avenue for one mile.
At the first traffic light (on the Derby-Ansonia town line) take a RIGHT onto Elm Street (Route 243).

From New Haven area - I-95 Westbound
Get on Route 34 northbound (Exit 47).
Follow Route 34 through New Haven (watch the signs) into Orange.
Follow Route 34 into Derby. Pass the shopping centers on the right.
Once past the shopping centers, get into the RIGHT LANE.
At the traffic light near the large brick church (St. Michael's) on the right. Stay in the RIGHT LANE and go STRAIGHT onto Derby Avenue (Route 115).
Follow Derby Avenue for one mile.

Get on Route 34 Southbound (Exit 11 off I-84)
Follow Route 34 through downtown Derby.
Get in the LEFT LANE after passing under the Route 8 expressway bridge, just past downtown.
The road soon ends in a 3-way intersection. Take a LEFT onto Derby Avenue (Route 115).
Follow Derby Avenue for one mile.
At the first traffic light (on the Derby-Ansonia town line) take a RIGHT onto Elm Street (Route 243).
