Churches by Lantern

Start the Holiday Season off right! The Derby Historical Society will be conducting a guided tour of four churches, by the light of punched tin lanterns! Tour their beautiful interiors, learn their history, and enjoy holiday organ music!

The tour ends at the Annual Christmas Tree lighting on Derby Green!

Tour Itinerary: Start at St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception, then visiting the Second Congregational, Derby United Methodist, and Immanuel-St. James Episcopal churches.

November 28, 2008 – 5:00 PM

Cost: $10.00 per adult, $8.00 for children 16 and under

Tickets will be sold at the David Humphreys House at 37 Elm St. Ansonia (735-1908), and at St. Mary’s Church before the event.
